Growing up in an active family, I’ve always led an active life.
I’ve played tennis since I was eight years old and enjoyed coaching others at the same time. But as I grew up, my friends stopped playing tennis. I watched as their priorities changed, especially the girls.
I was never one for make up and manicures, and I sure wasn’t going to trade my tennis racquet for that – even after working my way through at least five broken racquets!
So tennis started becoming a lonely sport for me.
But my love for sport wasn’t just confined to the tennis court. I started working in a gym since I was 16 years old, where I shadowed personal trainers, handled gym memberships and signups, taking people keys and greeting everyone that came in.
I fell in love with the gym culture and gravitated towards wanting to be a personal trainer. Little did I know that my career was about to unfold.
I worked as a gym manager for three years from the age of 22, and it has taught me a lot. I’ve spent more time working than studying, and through practical application, I’ve learnt to understand business, to treat people well, and that each person needs individual attention.
I think one of the hardest things about looking after your health and fitness is the criticism that comes with it. Having people roll their eyes at your lunch, or choice of drink when on a night out, or asking ‘do you have to go to the gym?’
…Ah yes, yes I do.
I think finding your own strength in what you believe and what you value is huge.
Never let anyone decide what’s best for you.
You are the only one who builds the life you live in.
So why not make it a PALACE?
So, why should you train at Enterprise Fitness? When I first came across Enterprise, I searched ‘Best Personal Training Studios in Melbourne’ first with the interest in training and training HARD.
Enterprise quickly came up with many photos of their client testimonials and progress. And boy, they were very impressive!
I then searched around every social media avenue Enterprise had (you could call it cyber stalking), and discovered the emphasis on not only training, but also nutrition, lifestyle, supplementation and mindset.
At Enterprise, it’s more than just an hour of one-on-one training.
Because how you spend the remaining 23 hours is equally important!
Whether it be lifestyle, nutrition, supplementation, mindset… you can rest assured that every component will be well taken care of. And that’s how you optimise natural health!
Stepping into Enterprise for the first time was an awesome experience. They sat me down and actually got to know me as a person and what i really wanted and needed.
With my love for lifting heavy stuff, I looked around and saw some of the best equipment you can find – It was like a dream playground for me.
After training here for a few months, I found myself wanting and needing to be more involved at Enterprise, and be a part of the extremely passionate and quirky people that work here.
The support that I felt as a client at Enterprise made me feel like I truly belong.
And now that I can proudly call myself an Enterprise coach, I want to do the same for every person that steps through the doors of Enterprise, and help them succeed to their fullest potential.
