Achieving her Competing Goal
Holly came to Enterprise Fitness as a blank canvas wanting to eventually compete, despite having no prior experience in lifting weights of any kind.
Holly started off with training that included progressive overload to increase strength and muscle mass. Her nutrition was simple and suited to meet the demands of her training, being a wholefood-based diet in a caloric deficit that stimulated fat loss. They then selected the competition division that suited her best, depending on how her body composition changed.
Here are Holly’s results at a glance:
- Weight: Lost 20 kgs (75.5 kgs to 55.5 kgs)
- Body fat: Dropped 14.1%
Throughout the weeks as Holly’s body fat shifted to an eventual plateau, we incorporated diet breaks and refeeds to break the plateaus. Within months, Holly’s body fat dropped 14.1% and her bodyweight dropped a massive 20 kgs. At the tail end of this 6 month journey, we entered Season A of ICN Bikini division with a set of admirable abdominals.
