I am 52years young, a mother of 2 young adults – Casey 25 and Chas 20 plus 2 furbabies Thor & Loki.
I was 35 when I competed for the first time, I’ve always loved being on stage. I danced through most of my young teens then again when I was 25, going on to becoming an aerobic instructor & personal trainer in the early 90’s. I taught classes up until 2016.
So being on stage as a Figure Competitor was a whole new world, of cause I fell in love with the whole process and continued to compete for the next 5 years winning & placing in many competitions, one of my proudest moments was when I appeared on ESPN Muscle Mania featuring one of my posing routines to Madonna’s Hanky Panky!
I hung up my bikini and high heels after 5years, wanting to give myself and family a break from prep life, returning to the stage again in 2011 & 2013, but I wasn’t happy with how I was looking, I am a very motivated, hard working person, but I needed to find that extra guidance.
Having worked in the Fitness Industry for many years I had a slight idea but certainly not to the extent of Enterprise.
So I started my research for trainers. I had been following Enterprise Fitness on FB for some time, I liked the look of what I saw with their competitors.
So in 2014 I took the plunge & walked in the front door of Enterprise and haven’t looked back since!
It was then I meet my current Coach Reece Adams (The White Wizard) whom prepped me for my last successful round of comps. I had 2015/2016 off training with Reece due to a new job career returning to train with him this year 2017. We are currently prepping for the Nationals this October, having competed at the Vic Titles in September which I placed Top 5 in two of my catorgories!
Reece writes my training programmes as well as nutrition plans. He knows my trouble/weak spots and we continue to work on making these stronger and leaner. It certainly is science dealing with different bodies & Reece certainly knows his stuff.
I trust the process, I trust my coach.
I have NEVER eaten so much prepping for a comp, it is AWESOME as I LOVE FOOD!!!!!
I enjoy my training sessions with Reece, I know every session I’m going to learn something new.
I do plan on hanging up my bikini after these comps for no other reason than I think It’s time for me, but in saying that I could be like John Farnham and keep coming back “ONE LAST TIME”
I will never stop weight training, weight training is FOR LIFE!
It keeps me young! ?
I will continue to train at Enterprise as they keep me accountable & Reece gives me lots of food to eat ?
Plus I love the environment here. I want to concentrate on being a healthy fit woman & have people look up to me and say “I just want be fit and happy like Jules”
So if anyone is reading this thinking they would like to make a change in their lives I highly recommend Enterprise Fitness, you will never look back.
