I was born into a physically active family. My early years were filled with activities, swimming, water-skiing, football and tennis. I can’t say I really took any of them seriously. Being the youngest of three siblings, it was more about the fun of trying to keep up. .
Under the influence of my two older brothers, I was acquainted with the classic 80’s and 90’s action films, where I idolized (and still do to this day) greats such as Schwarzenegger, Stallone and Van Damme.
Having inspiration from icons in physical strength and a solid foundation in physical activity, it was only natural that I would be attracted to the gym culture.
After coasting through high school, I joined the Army, in search for some greater purpose.
I enlisted as a rifleman and became a paratrooper, at the 3rd Battalion, where I attended specialist courses in Signals, Heavy Weapons, and Recognisance during my career. I was also deployed to East Timor on Peacekeeping Operations in 2008, and Afghanistan on combat operations in 2012.
I was unconsciously developing traits that I will carry throughout my life such as loyalty, teamwork, accountability, reliability and professionalism. It was in the military where I developed my love for the physical culture, being in an environment that prided itself on performance in all aspects.
This would then lead to me making a change to becoming a personal trainer.
As a personal trainer I wish to master the art of training and coaching, helping as many people I can along the way.
In the pursuit of excellence, it was only natural that I would seek the guidance of Mark Ottobre. I fell in love with Enterprise Fitness and the culture he has created in this world-class facility. I am proud to be apart of this team because they truly are the leaders in the fitness industry.
