I started training at Enterprise Fitness in January 2017.
I had completed three 12 week generic programs where I got short term results but the programs weren’t sustainable longer term and I wanted to take my training up a level and achieve sustainable results.
My initial goal wasn’t to compete, I had originally intended to only train with Enterprise for 12 weeks.
But with such great results after just a short time, we quickly set a goal for me to step on stage in September 2017.
I have thyroid disease and for so many years being tired and having no energy became normal and I found that I would struggle for motivation to train consistently and would never be out of bed before 7.
When I started training at Enterprise I noticed that I had more energy through the day, I had more focus and more motivation to train. I now bounce out of bed at 5am with lots of energy ready to hit the gym and I love being a morning person.
I love the honesty I get here, no answer is sugar coated.
They just say it how it is, so I know exactly what I should be doing and what to expect. Leading up to com, I was even told “I’m running you into the ground” and “it’s comp prep, it’s only going to get harder”.
I love this no BS approach.
Leading up to comp, I did a couple of peak week trials to ensure that I knew exactly what to expect and that there were no surprises come comp day. It made comp day smooth as I knew exactly what to do.
Knowing this made the process so much easier and it had me excited for what was to come.
To come home with a 1st place in Figure First Timers and 3rd place in Figure Novice was such an amazing feeling and completely unexpected. I absolutely loved comp day and made some great friends that day.
I am keen to get back on stage sometime in 2018. Watch this space!
I never expected any of this when first joining Enterprise Fitness. The experience and results have well and truly exceeded my expectations making me want to continue with Enterprise and continue setting and smashing goals.
