The Ketogenic, or ‘Keto’, Diet… heard of it?
Traditionally, this diet entails consuming 90% of your calories from fats, 9% from protein, and 1% from carbs.
The majority of us are pretty intrigued by this style of eating, and luckily for Mark, he took it up for 10 weeks for gut health reasons.
His thoughts?
… Hated it…
Training sucked, he felt like his body was turning in on himself, and started getting depressive symptoms.
But, let’s not knock the Keto Diet – it definitely has it’s place, and some people thrive off it!
Let’s just say – it’s a great diet for the right person.
