“The first approach that we took to get my client started was an everyday plan seven days a week. Progressing further with each phase, we switched to a training day and a non training day plan which also supported physical performance in the gym with higher carbohydrates being utilised on training days.
After this, we kept him at baseline for 2 weeks before dropping his calories back down by 20% for 6 days a week and 1 refeed day a week. As hunger levels began to increase and body fat dropped further, re-feed days were increased.”
