Client’s initial goal: Jordan wanted to compete from Day 1, so we committed to ICN Men’s Physique Season B Oct ‘22 and devised a 12-month plan to achieve this goal.
This involved reducing his body fat initially and improving his movement quality to reveal his existing muscle mass from a physique standpoint, create a better physiological environment conducive for optimising muscle growth, and establish good movement quality in the gym and address previous injuries. This set the groundwork for the ‘building’ phase which followed; a dedicated multi-month period to build the Men’s Physique. During this phase, we focused on building his food and performance across various lifts. 4 months out we began our dieting phase, where we gradually reduced his body fat (and continue to, at the moment of writing) until we reach stage-level conditioning.
