Create the Perfect Program for Your Client Using the Applied Muscle Testing Technique

The Applied Muscle Testing technique can be used to design and implement highly individualized training programs specific to the needs and pain points of each unique client. If you would like to master this skill, you can learn about it in-depth as a participant of the Master Level II Muscle Testing Course with Bob Guiel.

Personally, I’ve used this testing technique with a number of my clients including the 4x Ms Australia, 3x Ms. Olympia and 2x Ms Australasia Janet Kane. As you can probably guess, it’s proved extremely effective and is one of the secrets that I use when training high level, or elite clients.

But why is this specific muscle testing technique so great? As Bob explains in the video, it allows you to design and implement highly refined training programs, perfectly suited to the needs, weaknesses and pain points of each unique client. It grants you a profound level of accuracy and as a result, unparralled client results.

However, in order to get the most from this muscle testing technique, you need to have a clear and thurough understanding of basic muscle testing. Both myself and Bob would recommend having used muscle testing, as taught in the Level I Course, for a period of time (some months) before you move to this more advanced level. Once you have the knowledge in your head and a solid practical understanding, utilizing this next-level skill will allow you to ask the body very poignant questions and deliver to it exactly what it needs.

I used the Applied Muscle Testing technique when designing a training program for Janet Kane during her prep for the 2015 Arnold Classic. As result of using the muscle testing technique, this program was completely different to what we’ve done previously, and (I believe) that’s why it worked so perfectly because we had never been there before. As a result, Janet made some great gains and this particular program was featured on MAX’s Muscle TV.

Personally, I have found the results from using this technique have been phenomenal, both within myself and when used with the clients of Enterprise Fitness. It allows you to think outside of the box and really tune into what the body is craving, what it needs.

The Applied Muscle Testing Technique is not exclusive to Bob Guiel, myself and my team here at Enterprise. It is a learnable skillset and one that I would highly recommend every trainer and nutritionist, or anyone who is coaching people in any capacity within the health and fitness endeavor to master.
