Letโs take Vitamin D, for instance; in 2012, if your reading was measured between 80-120 nmol/L you were classed as healthy. Now, in 2019, if you are above 50 you arenโt โdeficientโโฆ And that’s if (and it’s a big if) the doctor will run a vitamin D test. Vitamin D is needed for many of our general bodily processes and functions.
