When I walked into Enterprise fitness 20 weeks ago I was at an extremely low part of life.
I had been working through an unexpected break up from my partner of 6 years and I have never felt so unhappy with where I was in life. I had a huge amount of negativity towards myself which was affecting everyone else who came near me.
I was always perceived as someone who was confident, independent and always had a plan but on the inside I was screaming. I knew I had to change something.
I knew I had to find myself again.
Health and fitness was always a passion of mine. The gym was my happy place and it was one place I felt comfortable with myself. I loved it so much a studied to be a Personal Trainer, but never pursued it as a career.
I was always intrigued by competition prep and often found myself on google looking into it. I was amazed by the dedication and passion of the competitors and found myself wanting to do it.
I was then introduced to Reece and the fantastic team at Enterprise.
Reece is nothing but amazing. He believed in me when I didn’t. He taught me something new every session I had with him and I found myself consistently saying ‘wow you just blew my mind‘. Even my team at work would ask me the day after I had a session “what did Reece teach you last night?”
Not only did Reece teach me how to train properly, he also taught me how to eat properly. I was so scared of carbs and fats that I never ate them. It turns out my body loves carbs and fats and I responded best when I ate this the most.
He also taught me that I’m good enough, that I should be proud of myself and I can achieve anything.
His dedication to me and my needs blows my mind. I knew I could always rely on him to guide me through and to “trust the process”
I walked in ashamed of who I was and how I looked and I walked out proud of who I have become mentally and physically.
I have never been so proud of myself and I have Reece to thank for that. The feeling of achievement I have of placing third in my first competition will be with me for a life time.
Thank You Reece and to everyone at Enterprise Fitness. You all are superstars and I will see you very soon for prep for my second comp!!!
