Enterprise Fitness member, Tenille Leahy, won GOLD in Figure at her very first comp!
After a very exciting weekend at the 2017 ICN All Female Classic, our champion member, Tenille, wrote about her first comp prep and time at Enterprise so far…
I have been training at Enterprise fitness for around 8 months now (I think). Originally, I joined the team to learn how to train more effectively and have a better understanding of nutrition.
I saw changes in my body immediately after joining! Sometimes it was more of a gradual process, but this was the best way for me to make it a lifestyle and long term. My coach at the time, Nathan (who has since moved overseas) was fully aware of my goals, my history and catered to these.
I set myself the goal of competing and decided to make my first comp the ICN All Female Classic. With only about 7-8 weeks of prep to go, I began training with my new coach, Liam. I was given amazing support, information, guidance and the skills to bring a physique I never thought was possible to the stage.
On the day of comp, I was feeling very nervous and was even doubting myself. Thankfully, my coach Liam, as well as some of the other Enterprise team, were with me the whole time. They helped keep me focused and had full confidence in me which was amazing!
To get up on stage was always going to be my biggest challenge, I have had 3 children which were large pregnancies and I have always been very body conscious. But once I was up there I felt amazing on stage!
I am so proud of what i have been able to accomplish!
The adrenaline and the atmosphere was exciting enough, but to then place in both of my categories was such an exciting surprise.
I can’t thank the team at Enterprise Fitness and my coaches enough and can’t wait to see what I can do in the future.
What’s in my future? Size! I want to see if I can transform this body again…
