Every time I write one of these posts, I rarely ever mention my nutrition or training programs… much to the dismay of my trainer who invests so much time into both.
This time though I’ve been asked to write a bit about my experience training with coach, Mark Ottobre, who also happens to be some big shot gym owner and trainer of a Commonwealth gold medallist and WBFF Bikini Pros, but whatever not a big deal… 😉
There are some people in this world that you meet, and then, one day, there comes an interaction where you find yourself questioning every moment of your life up until that moment in time. What happens next is a waterfall effect of change, that, ultimately redefines your future forever.
In my two years at Enterprise Fitness, first as a client and then as a staff member, I’ve been privileged enough to say that, yes, Enterprise has forever redefined who I am as a person.
Some people do a prep because they are unhappy with the way that their bodies look.
I did this prep because I was absolutely happy with the way that my body looked and wanted to celebrate my own success.
I’ll try to keep this one short (good luck to me).
Before I decided to do this photoshoot, I had a training plan but no nutrition guidance.
I’m an adult. I don’t need to be told what to do.
I also was surrounded by some of the best coaches in Australia, so I had access to the best education (if I ever needed it).
My goal was as simple as finding my own happiness and finding balance in all my areas of life. Something that I neglected for a long period of my life.
I put all my focus on fulfilling these areas, achieving this balance and alleviating stress.
Funnily enough, when I focused internally, my body decided to change as well.
About a month of being comfortable enough to train in a crop top, feeling great and PBing in all my lifts, I decided it was time to set a new goal.
So I decided to do a photoshoot.
Told my coach, Mark Ottobre, that he had 7.5 weeks to prep me.
To which he replied, “Sure why not?”
What happened next was the easiest prep ever.
I did all that was set out to me by my coach (training, nutrition, sleep, cardio, etc…).
When you have been training for health for so long and you have one of the best coaches in Australia, it’s a formula for success.
Yes there are some significant changes in the 8 weeks, but there have been even bigger changes behind the scenes, across the two years, that cannot be expressed in a simple before/after.
Big shout out to my coach, Mark Ottobre for coaching me for this prep and helping me to deadlift 135kgs (I’m not sure which achievement I’m prouder of lol).
But more importantly, thanks Mark for helping me to change my perspective on life.
It’s been a great 2.5 years, doing some great work with some great people for a great organisation.
I genuinely believe in Enterprise Fitness and all that it is capable of with all my heart.
If you’re a person.
You should train at Enterprise Fitness.
Yep. That’s it.
