A piece of advice – don’t take on everything you hear and implement it as gospel.
You find a winning recipe, and start seeing results. But, as soon as you hear your favourite podcaster praise another method, you scrap your way and follow their advice.
You’ve suddenly minimised your own personal experience, and maximised someone else’s; overruling your own success!
Listen, watch, learn and experiment, but keep in mind that everyone is different, and what works for one person will not necessarily work for you.
Still not sure who to listen to? Well, maybe you need to consider finding a coach rather than listening to out of context information. A good coach will take the time to understand you as an individual; it is their duty to refine your training and nutrition according to your individual training and dietary needs.
Remember, don’t forget what you know and what has made you successful.
