If you missed out on the Enterprise Fitness newsletters in October, here’s what happened…
#16: Winner, Winner – Chicken Dinner!
Massive congrats to Kim Drew for taking out her second competition this year, winning the ICN Ballarat Muscle and Model Showdown!
Massive props to her coach, Liam, who recently got promoted to Master Trainer.
#15: Karl Doubles His Income
Karl’s a hungry trainer from Sydney working pretty closely with me in my Trainer Mentoring program, Wolfpack.
He’s been all around the world to learn but has found Wolfpack the one stop shop for all his educational needs.
He’s joining me again for 2019, watch the video to find out why…
#14: Push Ups
In this video we show you how to do a push up the right way.
Check out these key tips to getting the most out of your push ups. A good push up should be a whole body exercise.
Have fun with these!
#13: Thank you, Charles Poliquin
It’s been a sad week for strength coaches around the world. Many of us lost a mentor, Charles Poliquin.
Charles had been a great mentor to me and has greatly influenced the way Enterprise operates and trains its members.
This week, I re-released a podcast we did back in 2014 to remember Charles and paid homage to our Strength Sensei with this video, the 5 best things I learnt from Charles Poliquin.
You will be missed.
#12: Steve Dropped Over 10% of Body Fat
Steve is just 54 years young and has dropped over 10% of body fat in just 18 weeks.
He’s going to kill it at the National Titles this week. Stay tuned!
#11: Do You Need Supplements?
Mark, can’t you just get what you need from food?
Short answer, you can; long answer, why would you? If you’re someone wanting to optimise their health, supplements certainly have a role –
however I am not talking about protein powders, fat burners or pre-workouts.

#10: Y Raise
Bad posture? Weak when holding position on a bench press?
This version of a Y raise is killer and is a frequent go-to at Enterprise for aiding and assisting clients in improving posture and dysfunction.
Find out the right way to do it here.
#9: Dr. Andrew Lock – Master Physio on Wolfpack
Dr. Andrew Lock is a sought after physiotherapist who has taught at Wolfpack and Enterprise for the last 3 years. So it’s with pleasure we announce him for another education day in Wolfpack 2019.

#8: Enterprise Rocks National Models and Fitness Show!
AND THAT’S A WRAP FOR COMPS THIS YEAR!
And what a finale.
The best of the best bodies graced the stage at the nationals and the competition was ferocious! Check out the photos here.
Special mention to June Bosland for placing 3rd in a hugely competitive line-up!
#7: Larry’s Transformation
Larry.
Larry is 57 years young.
He’s been training his whole life and thought now would be a great time to compete.
So he came to Enterprise and has been blown away with his results and the process.
Larry, you’re a legend!
Thank you.
#6: Chris Glass’s Story So Far…
Imagine being told by a surgeon at 27 years old you would need complete hip replacement by 35.
That was Chris.
Chris came to Enterprise Fitness confused about what to do with an injury he’d been battling with for more than 10 years.
Find out what happened here.
#5: Arnie Press
This is an awesome exercise. One of my favourites for building shoulders like boulders. Done correctly, it’s very safe and places maximal tension on the delts.
Check out the finer points here.
#4: Jonathan Dodd
Jonathan and Coach Tyler have been working hard to bring a jaw-dropping change to Jonathan’s physique. Jonathan gave us the challenge of sticking to plant-based choices.
In 20 weeks, he has lowered his body fat by 8%, built 3 kilos of lean muscle and he has improved on all of his main lifts. Great results!
#3: Military Press
Everyone loves a good overhead press. It’s hailed as a ’main compound lift’ to which I agree.
However, when clients come to us for the first time, a standing barbell military press is often the worse exercise presubscription.
Why? Generally speaking, unless taught how to do it correctly, people shift their pelvis forward, placing all the load on the lumbar spine and lower back. Not a problem if you have a strong and healthy lower back- the problem, most people have low standards to what strong and healthy should look like when it comes to backs.
Enjoy this exercise review of military pressing.
#2 Post Training Coffee is Dumb
Every now and then you hear a “piece of advice” touted in the training community that is 100% absolutely bonkers! New trending advice is to have a fresh cuppa coffee post workout. This advice is just plain stupid.
Enjoy my rant here, I get into some weeds explaining the science but all in all, I think after watching it, you’ll be opting for a post workout meal with some Aminos over a cup of Java.
#1: Wolfpack Has Changed!
Wolfpack is now available in modules!
What does that mean? For the last 3 years, to attend ANY Wolfpack course or event, you needed to commit to ALL of Wolfpack- and for 12 months.
We interviewed a number of aspiring trainers and seasoned trainers looking to get better results clients and learn the business of personal training.
You spoke. We listened. For the first time EVER…
